Thanksgiving for the LORD's Favor

Psalms 138 (A Psalm of David)
1/ I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.
2/ I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy loving-kindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
3/ In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.
4/ All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.
5/ Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD.
6/ Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.
7/ Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
8/ The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me:
thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands... AMEN!!!

One CANNOT earn GRACE, it is HIS own ESSENCE; a gift, still, IF one claims to be IN HIS GRACE, we ARE to, or, OUGHT to, be reflections of that GRACE! 2 CORINTHIANS 6:1, tells us not to take HIS GRACE in vain! This means, living in LOVE, morality, ethics, virtue, righteousness, and, spiritual improvement, TOWARDS, spiritual maturity, WHILE, visibly BEING as LIGHTS, beaming OF *GOD*, beckoning the world, TO THE LIGHT! Righteousness MEANS, conduct in conformity with *GOD'S* WILL, and, "Be HOLY because I AM HOLY!", therefore, indicating that knowledge, wisdom, and, effort, DO, apply TO the righteous!!! NEVER forget, we were grafted in, and, if we do not bear fruit, as a dead branch, we will be pruned out, just as were, the natural branches!!!

We are not saved by works, instead, works PROVE HIM in us: they identify HIS own...

IF I claim ONENESS with *GOD*, through CHRIST JESUS, I am DEAD TO THE WORLD, THUS, LIVING as HIM, which is, hopefully, witnessed IN, and, THROUGH, my every thought, action, and, reaction; MEANING, I am, THROUGH CONSCIOUS application OF THE WORD, HIS COMMANDS, HIS WILL, REFLECTING righteousness, not, merely, FAITH! I become, the TRULY FRUITFUL branch, of THE VINE, the TRUE member of THE BODY/THE CHURCH, CHRIST JESUS, and, TESTIFY, then, GLORIFY, BOLDLY, BY my thoughts, actions, and, reactions, HIS name, because, HE IS WORTHY, and, IN HIS LOVE, has SHOWN me, how I OUGHT to exist, to which, I eagerly, adapt, and, comply!!!

MATTHEW 5:48...
So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect

1 PETER 1:14-16...
14/ Like obedient children, do not act in compliance with the desires of your former ignorance
15/ but, as he who called you is holy, be holy yourselves in every aspect of your conduct,
16/ for it is written, "Be holy because I (am) holy."

ROMANS 12:2...
Do not conform yourselves to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect.

Conduct, in conformity to *GOD'S* WILL, marks the righteous; it is NOT because of guilt, or, ancient Laws, but, because of LOVE; LOVE for *GOD*, self, then, others! CHRIST JESUS gave us Commandments to live by, of which, the first is to LOVE *GOD*, with all of your mind, heart, and, soul; the second is, to LOVE one another!

LOVE COMPELS us to LIVE IN HIM, through conduct which conforms to *GOD*; in other words, morality, ethics, doing good, and, being good, and, ever striving to improve the spirit! It is about REFLECTING THE TRUTH, for ALL to bear witness to, FOR, and, TO HIS GLORY, RADIANTLY SHINING OF HIS POWER, GRACE, and, MERCIES!!!

It IS ALL ABOUT LOVE, baby, all about LOVE!!!

MATTHEW 4: 17...From that time on, Jesus began to preach and say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

JOHN 14:15..."If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

NOTE: I do not intend to preach, rather to reach; to stir up, awaken, to inspire, and, bring forth, in discussion, that which is, perhaps, dormantly existing in the heart of hearts, thus, little, or, no, sugar coatings, just THE WORD of *GOD*, the TRUTH, along with some of my thoughts. And truth is, I am reminding myself always, as I practice these reminders, in the best of my abilities, and capacities, while RELYING on THE LORD to lead me on that narrow PATH---> MATTHEW 7: 14: "For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it... TO *GOD* BE ALL GLORY...

SUNDAY'S SACRED SCRIPTURES...

*GOD'S* REIGN IS OVER ALL & EVERYTHING; it IS universal, and a day of reckoning lies ahead for ALL within HIS REIGN---

A great many people, though they might somewhere in their being believe in *GOD*, act as if they are masters over their own time, and manifest of their own powers the directions they take in this time. Pride, arrogance, haughtiness, and other selfish assumptions, mentalities, and actions, along with ignorance, much of which comes from NOT wanting to know THE TRUTH, WILL see many people suffering their consequences upon the day of reckoning...

Endless enemies roam the Earth; their agendas to keep, or remove as many from THE LORD *GOD*, HIS WILL, and THE TRUTH as is feasible, AND a large number ARE in the Churches, leading people astray, promising things they have no right to promise, and dissembling THE WORD of *GOD* to appease the masses, or at least, those who do not wish to KNOW, in full the WORKS of *GOD'S* WILL, and PLAN to SAVE us from ourselves, the world, and the enmity therein!!!

ALL IN ALL, there is NOTHING besides THE LORD *GOD* ALMIGHTY! HE COULD, if HE so chose to, destroy the Earth, along with ALL it's inhabitants, and HE WOULD REMAIN, HOWEVER, BECAUSE HE LOVES SO PURELY, and HAS PROMISED to LEAD us THROUGH this plane TO THE KINGDOM, if we are, honestly, so inclined, and HAS SWORN BY HIMSELF to NOT destroy the whole world again, we HAVE this time, and opportunity to REALIZE, ACKNOWLEDGE, and ALIGN TO HIM, HIS WILL, HIS WAYS, HIS WORD, THROUGH our SAVIOUR, JESUS CHRIST, in which we HUMBLE ourselves, give UP our pride, and the flesh, and step INTO RIGHTEOUSNESS AS THE PATH of our limited existence in the here, and now, HOPEFUL FOR what is to come, but understanding that we, as CO-PARTNERS HAVE responsibility to DO *GOD'S* WILL OVER our own...

We have NO control over ANYTHING in HIS WILL, and PLAN, all we HAVE control over IS our own thoughts, actions, and reactions, and if we do NOT accept, believe, or revere HIS SOLE POWER OVER us, and all else, we are not likely to DO HIS WILL, which then, becomes a CHOICE we made on our own, in total disregard for, first HIM, then our very soul, which DOES belong to HIM, and to HIM alone, and which WILL be either welcomed into THE KINGDOM, or tossed into eternal removal from HIM, and all which shall then exist; that which is right, just, and good! NEVER again after HE HAS HIS DAY, shall ANY evil, wrong, or unjust thought, act, action, or being belong to anything or anyone, except to the pit of damnation!!!

ISAIAH 2: 11-17...
11+++The proud look of man will be abased
And the loftiness of man will be humbled,
And the LORD alone will be exalted in that day.
12+++For the LORD of hosts will have a day of reckoning
Against everyone who is proud and lofty
And against everyone who is lifted up,
That he may be abased.
13+++And it will be against all the cedars of Lebanon that are lofty and lifted up,
Against all the oaks of Bashan,
14+++Against all the lofty mountains,
Against all the hills that are lifted up,
15+++Against every high tower,
Against every fortified wall,
16+++Against all the ships of Tarshish
And against all the beautiful craft.
17+++The pride of man will be humbled
And the loftiness of men will be abased;
And the LORD alone will be exalted in that day,

The taking of Jerusalem by the Chaldeans seems first meant here, when idolatry among the Jews was done away; but our thoughts are led forward to the destruction of all the enemies of Christ. It is folly for those who are pursued by the wrath of God, to think to hide or shelter themselves from it. The shaking of the earth will be terrible to those who set their affections on things of the earth. Men's haughtiness will be brought down, either by the grace of God convincing them of the evil of pride, or by the providence of God depriving them of all the things they were proud of.

The day of the Lord shall be upon those things in which they put their confidence. Those who will not be reasoned out of their sins, sooner or later shall be frightened out of them. Covetous men make money their god; but the time will come when they will feel it as much their burden. This whole passage may be applied to the case of an awakened sinner, ready to leave all that his soul may be saved.

The lofty looks of man shall be humbled.... Particularly of the man of sin, the son of perdition, who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, assuming that to himself which belongs to God; looking down with contempt upon, and behaving haughtily and insolently to all below him; blaspheming the name of God, his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven; he shall be humbled, consumed, and destroyed with the breath of Christ's mouth, and the brightness of his coming, 2 Thessalonians 2:4, and the haughtiness of man shall be bowed down; of the followers of antichrist, who have boasted of their wisdom and knowledge, of their number, power, greatness, and authority, of their wealth and riches, and of their merits and works of supererogation; their pride will now be stained, and all their glory laid in the dust: and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day: in his divine Person, and in all his offices, and especially in his kingly office; he shall be King over all the earth, the kingdoms of this world will become his, he shall be the one Lord, and his name one, Zechariah 14:9 this will be in the spiritual reign of Christ, in the latter day, or last day of the Gospel dispensation, when the church will be exalted, as in Isaiah 2:2 and in the personal reign of Christ it will still more appear, that he, and he alone, will be exalted by and among his people, among whom his tabernacle will be, for then he will have no rivals; not only all rule, power, and authority among men, will be put down, and the beast and false prophet will have been cast alive into the lake of fire; but Satan, the god of this world, will be taken and bound, and cast into the bottomless pit, and so remain during the time of Christ's thousand years' reign with his saints on earth: this passage is referred by the Jews to the end of the six thousand years the world according to them shall stand.

ALL & EVERYTHING exists FOR THE GLORY OF *GOD*, in which we can share, or not! In giving UP the flesh, the selfishness, the pride, there IS coming, reward unprecedented; BELIEVE IT! PRAISE THE LORD, WORSHIP HIS HOLINESS, REJOICE IN HIS LOVING CARE for us, and HIS PRESENCE! HONOUR HIM, and BLESS BY BEING the EVIDENCE OF HIM within! PRAY, be kind, merciful, gracious, LOVE as HE LOVES, and in general, SHINE OF HIM; the world STILL NEEDS HIM!!!
