Unless we are in DIRECT contact with someone whose sincerity we question, or their influence directly influences us, should we spend so much time worrying about whether everyone who proclaims to be Christian is, or is not???
I look at it this way; ALL TRUTH WILL be known, and IS shown by the fruits of THE SPIRIT! I have my OWN FAITH, and FAITHFULNESS to build UP, to improve upon, and deepen, and while I continue aware of those who might be false infiltrators, I don't allow them to steal my diligence to perfecting my own stance in CHRIST! Sure, I might take note, and might mention such people, but I refuse to become enmeshed in ongoing dialogue, and concern over them, after all, their day before THE LORD IS nearing! We CAN'T see, or know what *GOD* does in anyone either!!!
2 CORINTHIANS 11: 13-15...
13+++For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.
14+++No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.
15+++Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deeds.
They profess to know God, but by their deeds they deny Him, being detestable and disobedient and worthless for any good deed.
Many profess to know God, yet in their lives deny and reject him. See the miserable state of hypocrites, such as have a form of godliness, but are without the power; yet let us not be so ready to fix this charge on others, as careful that it does not apply to ourselves.
You see, when we become overly involved in the falsehoods of the world, because they are innumerable, we are drifting away from our Calling! When we are too wrapped up in who is who, and what is what, we are not SERVING! When we are always testing the waters, we are blind to the waves nearby, and so on!!!
WHAT can we DO if a leader, or some other such person beyond our reach, is a false Christian? We can't shame them, obviously, otherwise they would not have been able to infiltrate, or last! Those within our Church, or whom we know, we can confront, and discern more readily, but it is unlikely that they will be shamed, for they are NOT OF *GOD*, therefore HOW could they be???
This is one reason we are bid to bear fruit worthy of THE HOLY SPIRIT; that *GOD* IS EVIDENT IN us! AND, such keeps us busy enough to see our thoughts focused on that ABOVE, not in matters of the world, which then, GLORIFIES HIM, and aids others!!!
It IS CLEAR whom IS Christian, and whom is NOT, for the most part, and so, aware, and awake, we move forward in FAITH, TRUST, FAITHFULNESS, and aiming to provide BLESSED fruits for the sake of THE VINE, for this ONLY, WILL remain eternally; all else will be as tinder for the fires!!!
ALL which works against *GOD* has purpose in HIS PLAN too, for THROUGH such HIS GLORY BRILLIANTLY SHINES throughout CREATION; having been shown IN TRUTH, the stark reality of their opposition!
43+++“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’
44+++But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,
45+++that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.
46+++If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that?
47+++And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that?
48+++Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
The Lord Jesus teaches that we must do all the real kindness we can to all, especially to their souls. We must pray for them. While many will render good for good, we must render good for evil; and this will speak a nobler principle than most men act by. Others salute their brethren, and embrace those of their own party, and way, and opinion, but we must not so confine our respect. It is the duty of Christians to desire, and aim at, and press towards perfection in grace and holiness. And therein we must study to conform ourselves to the example of our heavenly Father, 1Pe 1:15,16.
Surely more is to be expected from the followers of Christ than from others; surely more will be found in them than in others. Let us beg of God to enable us to prove ourselves his children.
EVERYTHING GOES BACK TO LOVE, FOR LOVE IS THE LAW, and WORKS MIRACULOUSLY EVEN in the face, and falsehood of evil! We HAVE to KNOW this with ALL our beings, and BELIEVE it, for THE LORD *GOD* ALMIGHTY IS LOVE, and IF we ARE ONE WITH HIM, LOVE BECOMES us! We DON'T give power to evil, by returning evil for evil, instead, we OVERPOWER evil with THE GOOD OF LOVE!!!
