There are a LOT of people expressing disdain when a Pastor, or other Clergy member reveals hard lessons to them! They whine, and cry, and sometimes run away! You CAN'T avoid parts of THE TRUTH for ALL parts work together for HIS GLORY, and our sakes; from safety, to protection, to guidance, to provision, and all in between!!!
WHY is it SO difficult to hear the FULLNESS of THE WORD? Is it because all along we have only heard the good stuff, and have let ourselves be convinced that this is enough for us? Is it because we think we can take certain information which appeals to us, then deny the rest because it must apply to other generations? Listen, I KNOW it gets hard to absorb ALL of THE TRUTH, but it DOES apply to ALL generations, and times BECAUSE people really haven't changed much, as the human condition prevails over the spirit, and so, we exist to learn, and to improve...
So MUCH damage has been done in Preaching, that if anyone says that we have to do anything towards fulfilling THE WILL of *GOD*, it is wrong, and suspect, BECAUSE people WANT to do what they WANT to do, AND claim HIM as their LORD and SAVIOUR! This IS part of THE TRUTH, but not the fullness of it!!!
ALL which is OF *GOD* is common to us; HE HAS GIVEN us THE WAY THAT we ARE able to exist IN HIS WILL, and leave the world behind! Don't even try to convince me that this doesn't involve work on our part, because we are NOT yet HOLY, we are BEING made HOLY, through Sanctification, and Consecration, which IS a process of growth, development, and improving the being! It is SURRENDERING OUR WILL FOR HIS, and this means, we DON'T cry when passing on the ways of the world, because we KNOW we have died to the world, and find LIFE IN CHRIST, AND those who DO THE WILL OF *GOD* TO THE END ARE those who will enter THE KINGDOM eternal!!!
I gave up lots in TURNING TO *GOD*; that makes me wrong? Not according to HIS WILL, which BIDS OBEDIENCE, and a release of the world, and it's ways! ALL through THE NEW TESTAMENT alone, ARE prescribed methods FOR the purpose OF our PRODUCING, and PROMOTING IN HIS NAME! IF we are filled by THE HOLY SPIRIT, we are ONE with THE SPIRIT, and thus, ARE spirit! IF we are IN HIS GRACE, we BECOME GRACE, and exist aligned TO GRACE! I could go on, but, you see?!!
TOO many people are acting as the ancients, crying, "Don't tell us this!", BECAUSE they, as I said, WANT to exist in both the world and *GOD*, which we KNOW does NOT work, because whom we serve, we LOVE, and one CANNOT according to THE WORD, serve two Masters!!!
Stop and LISTEN, and BECOME WHOM *GOD* INTENDED you to be; FAR GREATER than the fleshy being you so cling to! MORE than READ THE BIBLE, STUDY it, and ALL it's instruction, and SEE if it is legalistic to our walk with THE LORD! We KNOW that our works CANNOT save us, GRACE HAS, but IT IS REQUIRED that we BE, and DO GOOD, THAT we BEAR FRUIT WORTHY of our Calling, OF OUR LORD, of THE TRUE VINE! INSTEAD of being legalistic, it IS LOGICAL BECAUSE we are LEARNING RIGHTEOUSNESS BY EXISTING IN IT NOW, which IS OUR TRUTH ETERNALLY, IF WE HAVE GIVEN OURSELVES TO *GOD* OVER the world, to which we are dead! IT ISN'T for show, and yet, it shows others *GOD* IN US, to exist IN HIS WILL, and WAYS! Christians are CALLED forward as a HOLY PRIESTHOOD, does that leave room for conscious, and continued clinging to the world? NO! It CALLS us to RISE UP TO OUR INTENDED state of existence, FOR HIS GLORY, the good of the lost, and for our sake, and safety while in this realm!!!
We ARE CALLED to BE as HIS LIGHT, and the seasoning of HIS WILL! HOW can we BE LIGHT IF we cling to darkness and CHOOSE to cling to the world, OVER HIS WILL? I am sorry, but those who cry, and whine about THE TRUTH are denying it, BECAUSE IT IS written to teach, reprimand, instruct, guide, protect, provide, and SEPARATE us from the world, for we are NOT of the world, anymore than CHRIST was/is!!!
TRUTH CHANGES EVERYTHING, as GRACE BECOMES GRACE! It is NOT a one-sided deal, we HAVE our role, and purpose TO THE COVENANT OF RECONCILIATION! We are to BECOME LIKE CHRIST JESUS, and if that doesn't involve some adjusting, and altering, then I don't know what does!!!
The ancient people used to kill their Clergymen, because they told them the WHOLE TRUTH, then they appointed ones who would tickle their ears, and fancies! These same kind of people killed our LORD, CHRIST JESUS, and IS still evident today! We HAVE to be HUMBLED to the point of understanding that we are SERVANTS OF THE LORD, and that we are NOT equals to THE MOST HIGH *GOD*! On Earth, in HEAVEN, and all through the universe, HIS own SERVE HIM, and WILL eternal! We are NOTHING without *GOD*, and there is NO HOPE for anyone who remains afar from HIM! ONLY HE IS OMNIPOTENT, OMNIPRESENT, and OMNISCIENT, THEREFORE HE ALONE IS ABOVE ALL, and IS RULER OVER ALL RULERS, LORD OF LORDS, KING OF KINGS, and FAR GREATER than HIS own CREATION! HE ALONE, HAS the POWER to GIVE LIFE, and take it; to TEACH, to REACH, to TRANSFORM, and to COMPLETE HIS WILL, and PLAN, WHICH involves the PROCESS of growth, and development of HIS people, THAT their TRUTH does NOT need reiterating, instead it speaks LOUDLY for itself, in all they think, say, and do!!!
SOMETIMES in the sharing of particular messages of THE WORD, *GOD* HIMSELF IS reaching someone in the congregation, or even some! HE WORKS as HE PLEASES, THROUGH WHOM HE PLEASES, BUT HE WILL reach, and touch whomever NEEDS to be, and a mere human CANNOT stop, or alter this!!!
IF someone is MOVED to tears, to frustration, even to anger from hearing THE WORD, then it HAS reached them, even if they don't like it! And so, what else is there to say? *GOD* REACHES WHOM HE INTENDS TO, THROUGH ANY MEANS HE DESIRES, bottom line!!!
