HEAVENLY INCLINED...: THURSDAY: TOWERING TRUTH(S)...

Thanksgiving for the LORD's Favor

Psalms 138 (A Psalm of David)
1/ I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.
2/ I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy loving-kindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
3/ In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.
4/ All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.
5/ Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD.
6/ Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.
7/ Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
8/ The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me:
thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands... AMEN!!!

One CANNOT earn GRACE, it is HIS own ESSENCE; a gift, still, IF one claims to be IN HIS GRACE, we ARE to, or, OUGHT to, be reflections of that GRACE! 2 CORINTHIANS 6:1, tells us not to take HIS GRACE in vain! This means, living in LOVE, morality, ethics, virtue, righteousness, and, spiritual improvement, TOWARDS, spiritual maturity, WHILE, visibly BEING as LIGHTS, beaming OF *GOD*, beckoning the world, TO THE LIGHT! Righteousness MEANS, conduct in conformity with *GOD'S* WILL, and, "Be HOLY because I AM HOLY!", therefore, indicating that knowledge, wisdom, and, effort, DO, apply TO the righteous!!! NEVER forget, we were grafted in, and, if we do not bear fruit, as a dead branch, we will be pruned out, just as were, the natural branches!!!

We are not saved by works, instead, works PROVE HIM in us: they identify HIS own...

IF I claim ONENESS with *GOD*, through CHRIST JESUS, I am DEAD TO THE WORLD, THUS, LIVING as HIM, which is, hopefully, witnessed IN, and, THROUGH, my every thought, action, and, reaction; MEANING, I am, THROUGH CONSCIOUS application OF THE WORD, HIS COMMANDS, HIS WILL, REFLECTING righteousness, not, merely, FAITH! I become, the TRULY FRUITFUL branch, of THE VINE, the TRUE member of THE BODY/THE CHURCH, CHRIST JESUS, and, TESTIFY, then, GLORIFY, BOLDLY, BY my thoughts, actions, and, reactions, HIS name, because, HE IS WORTHY, and, IN HIS LOVE, has SHOWN me, how I OUGHT to exist, to which, I eagerly, adapt, and, comply!!!

MATTHEW 5:48...
So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect

1 PETER 1:14-16...
14/ Like obedient children, do not act in compliance with the desires of your former ignorance
15/ but, as he who called you is holy, be holy yourselves in every aspect of your conduct,
16/ for it is written, "Be holy because I (am) holy."

ROMANS 12:2...
Do not conform yourselves to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect.

Conduct, in conformity to *GOD'S* WILL, marks the righteous; it is NOT because of guilt, or, ancient Laws, but, because of LOVE; LOVE for *GOD*, self, then, others! CHRIST JESUS gave us Commandments to live by, of which, the first is to LOVE *GOD*, with all of your mind, heart, and, soul; the second is, to LOVE one another!

LOVE COMPELS us to LIVE IN HIM, through conduct which conforms to *GOD*; in other words, morality, ethics, doing good, and, being good, and, ever striving to improve the spirit! It is about REFLECTING THE TRUTH, for ALL to bear witness to, FOR, and, TO HIS GLORY, RADIANTLY SHINING OF HIS POWER, GRACE, and, MERCIES!!!

It IS ALL ABOUT LOVE, baby, all about LOVE!!!

MATTHEW 4: 17...From that time on, Jesus began to preach and say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

JOHN 14:15..."If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

NOTE: I do not intend to preach, rather to reach; to stir up, awaken, to inspire, and, bring forth, in discussion, that which is, perhaps, dormantly existing in the heart of hearts, thus, little, or, no, sugar coatings, just THE WORD of *GOD*, the TRUTH, along with some of my thoughts. And truth is, I am reminding myself always, as I practice these reminders, in the best of my abilities, and capacities, while RELYING on THE LORD to lead me on that narrow PATH---> MATTHEW 7: 14: "For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it... TO *GOD* BE ALL GLORY...

THURSDAY: TOWERING TRUTH(S)...

In both the Old and New Testaments, we see God’s desire for His children to show compassion to the poor and needy.

Jesus said that the poor would always be with us (Matthew 26:11; Mark 14:7). He also said that those who show mercy to the poor, the sick, and the needy are in effect ministering to Him personally (Matthew 25:35–40) and will be rewarded accordingly---

1 JOHN 3: 17...
But whoever has the world's goods, and sees his brother in need and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God abide in him?

The Holy Spirit, grieved at selfishness, will leave the selfish heart without comfort, and full of darkness and terror. By what can it be known that a man has a true sense of the love of Christ for perishing sinners, or that the love of God has been planted in his heart by the Holy Spirit, if the love of the world and its good overcomes the feelings of compassion to a perishing brother? Every instance of this selfishness must weaken the evidences of a man's conversion; when habitual and allowed, it must decide against him. If conscience condemn us in known sin, or the neglect of known duty, God does so too. Let conscience therefore be well-informed, be heard, and diligently attended to.

As an example; a year or so ago, at a Family picnic, which was held in a state park, a homeless Man happened to show up, and started digging through the trash cans. My group had already eaten; we were in the process of putting the rest of the food away, so, I made this Man a plate of food, which he took a distance away, and ate. LORD have MERCY, I was put down by at least half of the people there, and told that I should NOT have done this, and for the record it was my food that I had prepared, and which most of the leftovers would be trashed anyway! The people were VERY upset, and adamantly let me know that we just don't do such things! I don't share this for any other reason than to SHOW the fact that more people than not, have extremely different ideals about SERVING THE LORD, and others: I didn't even think if anyone was noticing or not, I just acted out of my LOVE for *GOD*, and compassion for others...

Try as I might to explain the necessity for doing the right thing, and why it is important to *GOD*, even me, I was taken down many notches in the esteem of others that day, but it doesn't really matter because something greater than any of us was at work that day, and SHOULD have been noticed by even the least informed, but alas, was overlooked, or ignored in favour of self OVER all else...

People had the nerve to tell me that this poor Man had more money than they do, which is REALLY funny since most of them are quite wealthy, as they ASSUMED that he was a professional beggar! He didn't ASK for food, I offered it to him! I can't stand to see people eating out of trash cans, and we had PLENTY of leftover food right there, SO...

Only one person said that they saw the whole thing and there was nothing wrong with what was done, all the rest stood in formation against me, and ultimately, WHO did they really stand up against???

HEBREWS 13:2...
Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it.

The Greek word for “angels”—messengers—of itself would serve to remind these Christians that, though the strangers whom they welcomed were but men, they might be special messengers of God.

We MUST take THE WORD of *GOD* to heart, write it on our hearts, and let it become ONE with our entire being! We MUST ACT according TO THE WILL OF *GOD* AT ALL times; it DOESN'T matter about human approval!!!

We MUST TRULY CARE to fulfill THE WILL OF *GOD*, and care about others! CARING is NOT a hit and miss thing, but MUST be continuous! LOVE IS THE LAW of *GOD*, for HE IS LOVE, and HE does NOT show partiality, thus we are not to either! WHO needs food more than a hungry person? WHO needs LOVE more than those getting none? WHO needs comforting more than the hurting? WHO needs companionship more than than the lonely? WHO needs a place to rest their head more than those who have no such place? WHO AM I to deny anyone in need WHEN I have something, even nearly nothing, to offer them? THIS IS THE WORK OF THE LORD, and IS intended to be DONE by those who call HIM LORD!!!

1 CORINTHIANS 1: 27...
but God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong,

This is SO true for me! I have been put through the wringer concerning my allegiance to THE LORD *GOD*, and HIS WILL, but I don't flinch much, I just feel sorrow for the fact that despite THE TRUTH being presented to people, they will find a way to make it insignificant to themselves, and will continue in their own perceptions of what is HOLY, RIGHT, JUST, and GOOD! The world TRIES to alter THE WORD, and WILL OF *GOD* to fit them, and their lifestyles, ignoring THE TRUTH THAT THE WORD, and WILL OF *GOD* HAVE BEEN TRIED, TESTED, and PROVEN, and ARE EVERLASTING, and change NOT for generations, PARTLY because people have NOT changed though the world may, or may not have advanced!!!

We ARE to care for the Children, the Fatherless, the Orphaned, the Widowed, the Poor, the Needy, the Lonely, the Downtrodden, the Oppressed, the Homeless, the Hungry, the Ill, and on, and on it goes, UNTIL EVERY single one who suffers at the hand of the world HAS been touched by the HAND OF *GOD*, THROUGH THE BODY OF HIS CHURCH, and HIS LOVE!!!

I feel bad for those who refuse to SEE, or HEAR, because in the end, ALL those they rejected, and scorned, WILL be raised HIGH in THE KINGDOM, while they will be brought low! IT IS SO IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND THE WILL of *GOD*, and HOW HIS LOVE works IN this time, FOR HIS GLORY, for the soul, and for the greater good of others! HIS WILL IS BEAUTIFULLY comprised, and WORKS FOR THE GOOD of ALL!!!

WHAT are the Churches teaching people? WHY don't most people KNOW what *GOD* has said about everything involving this time? HOW can they be reached when they are more likely to flog someone for speaking THE TRUTH, or ACTING in it? WHERE ARE the leaders who ARE willing to not only teach TRUTH, but BE that TRUTH? WHEN will people understand their ROLE in the PARTNERSHIP OF *GOD*, LOVE, GRACE, and MERCY???

True religion teaches us to do every thing as in the presence of God. An unspotted life must go with unfeigned love and charity.

PROVERBS 31: 9...
Open your mouth, judge righteously, And defend the rights of the afflicted and needy.

JEREMIAH 22: 16...
"He pled the cause of the afflicted and needy; Then it was well. Is not that what it means to know Me?" Declares the LORD.

The greatest of men must look upon the meanest as their neighbours, and be just to them accordingly.

---He judged the cause of the poor and needy, .... Who could not defend themselves against the rich and the mighty; he took their cause in hand, and, having heard it, determined it in their favour, and did them justice, as princes and civil magistrates ought to do: then it was well with him; this is repeated, not only to show the certainty of it, but that it might be observed, and his example followed: was not this to know me? saith the Lord; it is not by words only, but by deeds, that men show that they know the Lord; for some in words profess to know him, who in works deny him; when princes do the duty of their office, they thereby declare that they know and own the Lord, by, and under whom, they reign; that they have the fear of him before their eyes; this is a practical knowledge of him, and is well pleasing to him.

---"is not this the knowledge with which I am well pleased? saith the Lord.''

I would give the shirt off my back to someone, because a Man once did that for me, and because *GOD* has taught me that SHARING IS THE WAY, just look at ALL HE HAS SHARED, and DOES SHARE, and WILL SHARE with those who LOVE HIM!!!
