Thanksgiving for the LORD's Favor

Psalms 138 (A Psalm of David)
1/ I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.
2/ I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy loving-kindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
3/ In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.
4/ All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.
5/ Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD.
6/ Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.
7/ Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
8/ The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me:
thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands... AMEN!!!

One CANNOT earn GRACE, it is HIS own ESSENCE; a gift, still, IF one claims to be IN HIS GRACE, we ARE to, or, OUGHT to, be reflections of that GRACE! 2 CORINTHIANS 6:1, tells us not to take HIS GRACE in vain! This means, living in LOVE, morality, ethics, virtue, righteousness, and, spiritual improvement, TOWARDS, spiritual maturity, WHILE, visibly BEING as LIGHTS, beaming OF *GOD*, beckoning the world, TO THE LIGHT! Righteousness MEANS, conduct in conformity with *GOD'S* WILL, and, "Be HOLY because I AM HOLY!", therefore, indicating that knowledge, wisdom, and, effort, DO, apply TO the righteous!!! NEVER forget, we were grafted in, and, if we do not bear fruit, as a dead branch, we will be pruned out, just as were, the natural branches!!!

We are not saved by works, instead, works PROVE HIM in us: they identify HIS own...

IF I claim ONENESS with *GOD*, through CHRIST JESUS, I am DEAD TO THE WORLD, THUS, LIVING as HIM, which is, hopefully, witnessed IN, and, THROUGH, my every thought, action, and, reaction; MEANING, I am, THROUGH CONSCIOUS application OF THE WORD, HIS COMMANDS, HIS WILL, REFLECTING righteousness, not, merely, FAITH! I become, the TRULY FRUITFUL branch, of THE VINE, the TRUE member of THE BODY/THE CHURCH, CHRIST JESUS, and, TESTIFY, then, GLORIFY, BOLDLY, BY my thoughts, actions, and, reactions, HIS name, because, HE IS WORTHY, and, IN HIS LOVE, has SHOWN me, how I OUGHT to exist, to which, I eagerly, adapt, and, comply!!!

MATTHEW 5:48...
So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect

1 PETER 1:14-16...
14/ Like obedient children, do not act in compliance with the desires of your former ignorance
15/ but, as he who called you is holy, be holy yourselves in every aspect of your conduct,
16/ for it is written, "Be holy because I (am) holy."

ROMANS 12:2...
Do not conform yourselves to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect.

Conduct, in conformity to *GOD'S* WILL, marks the righteous; it is NOT because of guilt, or, ancient Laws, but, because of LOVE; LOVE for *GOD*, self, then, others! CHRIST JESUS gave us Commandments to live by, of which, the first is to LOVE *GOD*, with all of your mind, heart, and, soul; the second is, to LOVE one another!

LOVE COMPELS us to LIVE IN HIM, through conduct which conforms to *GOD*; in other words, morality, ethics, doing good, and, being good, and, ever striving to improve the spirit! It is about REFLECTING THE TRUTH, for ALL to bear witness to, FOR, and, TO HIS GLORY, RADIANTLY SHINING OF HIS POWER, GRACE, and, MERCIES!!!

It IS ALL ABOUT LOVE, baby, all about LOVE!!!

MATTHEW 4: 17...From that time on, Jesus began to preach and say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

JOHN 14:15..."If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

NOTE: I do not intend to preach, rather to reach; to stir up, awaken, to inspire, and, bring forth, in discussion, that which is, perhaps, dormantly existing in the heart of hearts, thus, little, or, no, sugar coatings, just THE WORD of *GOD*, the TRUTH, along with some of my thoughts. And truth is, I am reminding myself always, as I practice these reminders, in the best of my abilities, and capacities, while RELYING on THE LORD to lead me on that narrow PATH---> MATTHEW 7: 14: "For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it... TO *GOD* BE ALL GLORY...

SUNDAY'S SACRED SCRIPTURES...

HE will not leave you, nor forsake you---

There are at least 80 BIBLE verses to reiterate the FACT that once we turn to THE LORD, HE will not leave us, or forsake us! That is as long as we are TRUE in our turning to HIM, with unfeigned LOVE, and compliance to HIS WILL, and WAYS...

THE LORD *GOD* IS NEAR to those who are near to HIM! HE IS FAITHFUL to those who LOVE HIM, and are FAITHFUL TO HIM! HE IS as close as the breath HE GIVES us! HIS POWERS ARE invoked by our allegiance to HIM! HE HAS PROVIDED A WAY for us, and PROVIDES exceedingly, throughout the course of the time we have! ALL IF we REMAIN IN HIM, and take off the world, and it's ways...

CHRIST JESUS, after HIS ASCENSION sent upon HIS people, THE HOLY SPIRIT, for great purpose, and aid! This HOLY SPIRIT works proficiently IN those who are OPEN to HIM, and RELY ON HIM without fail, or falter! This HOLY SPIRIT frees the TRUTH of our reality, our spirit, which IS CREATED in the likeness of *GOD* HIMSELF, and which BELONGS to HIM, albeit, with free will, one has the potential to work WITH HIM to reach THE KINGDOM, or to resist HIM, and chain the spirit to the world...

We are taught to rely on the world, and its ways, which leads us FAR from our LORD! HE ALONE, merits our RELIANCE, for ONLY HE CAN, and WILL protect, comfort, restore, renew, and lead us to HIS PROMISES, which ARE WAY MORE than all of what the world offers, combined...

WHEN we give ourselves UP TO *GOD*, we then, are SUPERNATURALLY EMPOWERED, and brought THROUGH what the world intends to chain us with, such as anxiety, fear, and all those dismaying negatives! HE IS WITH THOSE WHO CHOOSE TO BE WITH HIM, and so, there is no need for negatives to rule our minds, hearts, emotions, and bodies, though we will yet struggle with such as we LEARN to let go of them, and TRUST HIM COMPLETELY!!!

As we GROW INTO HIM, we are like toddlers in water; we thrash around, are confused, and so forth, but with HIS LOVING guidance, and protection, we begin to swim, even if at first, it is but a dog-paddle! It IS a PROCESS to grow, and develop into our REALITY, as we are Sanctified, and CONSECRATED INTO HIS HOLY WILL, and WAY; a process in which WILL find us TRUSTING HIM OVER all else!!!

ALL negatives brought about in this world have the power to destroy us, from the depths outwardly! When we give them power to overtake us, we are enmeshed in them, as they begin to affect our every thought, action, and reaction! These AREN'T going to go away, yet IN THE LORD we ARE brought THROUGH them, and RECOGNIZE HIS POWER OVER such! Like learning to swim, we REALIZE that once we stop thrashing about, we CAN move freely through the water! We FORGET about what is working against us as we take on the KNOWLEDGE that we CAN swim!!!

*GOD* IS THE POWER which allows us to move through all which leads us to believe its power(s) are greater! All other powers are as nothing in comparison to THE LORD'S! HE CAN, DOES, and WILL eradicate all lesser powers, in this time, and everafter, because all such powers are as delusional; it HAS BEEN TRIED, TESTED, and PROVEN THROUGH CHRIST JESUS, BLESS HIS NAME!!!

TRUST IN THE LORD *GOD* ALMIGHTY WITH ALL YOU HAVE; it is THE wisest thing one can do in their proclamation of HIM as their LORD, and SAVIOUR! PURE LOVE, and FAITH, and HOPE INCREASE HIS POWERS, and LEAD us effectively through this realm! ALL the great examples throughout THE BIBLE RELIED UPON HIM without waver, and AIMED to exist IN HIS WILL; they UNDERSTOOD HIS SOVEREIGN POWER OVER all else, and so they REMAINED SURE OF HIM!!!

Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil! PSALM 23. I will fear NO evil, for I KNOW *GOD* IS WITH ME! I WILL place my life IN HIS hands, and HIS PROMISES! I might struggle for a while to COMPLETELY TRUST HIM, but it WILL happen, as I STOP thrashing about, resisting TRUTH, and learn FROM HIM HOW to manage the waters of time!!!

DEUTERONOMY 31: 8...
"The LORD is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed."

Man can never be of good courage, unless he is persuaded of God's favour and assistance.

Moses assures Israel of the constant presence of God with them. This is applied by the apostle to all God's spiritual Israel, to encourage their faith and hope; unto us is this gospel preached, as well as unto them; he will never fail thee, nor forsake thee, Heb 13:5. Moses commends Joshua to them for a leader; one whose wisdom, and courage, and affection they had long known; one whom God had appointed to be their leader; and therefore would own and bless. Joshua is well pleased to be admonished by Moses to be strong and of good courage. Those shall speed well, who have God with them; therefore they ought to be of good courage. Through God let us do valiantly, for through him we shall do victoriously; if we resist the devil, he will flee from us.

This promise contains the sum and substance of all the promises; I will never, no, never leave thee, no, never forsake thee. In the original there are no less than five negatives put together, to confirm the promise: the true believer shall have the gracious presence of God with him, in life, at death, and for ever. Men can do nothing against God, and God can make all that men do against his people, to turn to their good.

AMEN! YES, TRUST IN THE LORD, and KNOW HE IS WITH YOU! PRAISE HIM ALWAYS! WORSHIP HIS HOLINESS! REJOICE IN HIS LOVING PRESENCE, and CARE! THANK HIM, and BE CONTENT IN HIM! RELY ON HIM without falter! HONOUR HIM BY LEANING ON HIM, and FULFILLING HIS WILL through you! PRAY, PRAY, PRAY, and FIND THE PEACE TOTAL CONFIDENCE IN HIM BRINGS!!!
