Thanksgiving for the LORD's Favor

Psalms 138 (A Psalm of David)
1/ I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.
2/ I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy loving-kindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
3/ In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.
4/ All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.
5/ Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD.
6/ Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.
7/ Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
8/ The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me:
thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands... AMEN!!!

One CANNOT earn GRACE, it is HIS own ESSENCE; a gift, still, IF one claims to be IN HIS GRACE, we ARE to, or, OUGHT to, be reflections of that GRACE! 2 CORINTHIANS 6:1, tells us not to take HIS GRACE in vain! This means, living in LOVE, morality, ethics, virtue, righteousness, and, spiritual improvement, TOWARDS, spiritual maturity, WHILE, visibly BEING as LIGHTS, beaming OF *GOD*, beckoning the world, TO THE LIGHT! Righteousness MEANS, conduct in conformity with *GOD'S* WILL, and, "Be HOLY because I AM HOLY!", therefore, indicating that knowledge, wisdom, and, effort, DO, apply TO the righteous!!! NEVER forget, we were grafted in, and, if we do not bear fruit, as a dead branch, we will be pruned out, just as were, the natural branches!!!

We are not saved by works, instead, works PROVE HIM in us: they identify HIS own...

IF I claim ONENESS with *GOD*, through CHRIST JESUS, I am DEAD TO THE WORLD, THUS, LIVING as HIM, which is, hopefully, witnessed IN, and, THROUGH, my every thought, action, and, reaction; MEANING, I am, THROUGH CONSCIOUS application OF THE WORD, HIS COMMANDS, HIS WILL, REFLECTING righteousness, not, merely, FAITH! I become, the TRULY FRUITFUL branch, of THE VINE, the TRUE member of THE BODY/THE CHURCH, CHRIST JESUS, and, TESTIFY, then, GLORIFY, BOLDLY, BY my thoughts, actions, and, reactions, HIS name, because, HE IS WORTHY, and, IN HIS LOVE, has SHOWN me, how I OUGHT to exist, to which, I eagerly, adapt, and, comply!!!

MATTHEW 5:48...
So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect

1 PETER 1:14-16...
14/ Like obedient children, do not act in compliance with the desires of your former ignorance
15/ but, as he who called you is holy, be holy yourselves in every aspect of your conduct,
16/ for it is written, "Be holy because I (am) holy."

ROMANS 12:2...
Do not conform yourselves to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect.

Conduct, in conformity to *GOD'S* WILL, marks the righteous; it is NOT because of guilt, or, ancient Laws, but, because of LOVE; LOVE for *GOD*, self, then, others! CHRIST JESUS gave us Commandments to live by, of which, the first is to LOVE *GOD*, with all of your mind, heart, and, soul; the second is, to LOVE one another!

LOVE COMPELS us to LIVE IN HIM, through conduct which conforms to *GOD*; in other words, morality, ethics, doing good, and, being good, and, ever striving to improve the spirit! It is about REFLECTING THE TRUTH, for ALL to bear witness to, FOR, and, TO HIS GLORY, RADIANTLY SHINING OF HIS POWER, GRACE, and, MERCIES!!!

It IS ALL ABOUT LOVE, baby, all about LOVE!!!

MATTHEW 4: 17...From that time on, Jesus began to preach and say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

JOHN 14:15..."If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

NOTE: I do not intend to preach, rather to reach; to stir up, awaken, to inspire, and, bring forth, in discussion, that which is, perhaps, dormantly existing in the heart of hearts, thus, little, or, no, sugar coatings, just THE WORD of *GOD*, the TRUTH, along with some of my thoughts. And truth is, I am reminding myself always, as I practice these reminders, in the best of my abilities, and capacities, while RELYING on THE LORD to lead me on that narrow PATH---> MATTHEW 7: 14: "For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it... TO *GOD* BE ALL GLORY...

WALK THIS LAND OF BROKEN DREAMS IN THE COMPANY OF THE LORD...

For more than some, placing their belief, and FAITH in THE LORD, is like holding onto a thin thread, or grasping at straws. These find it difficult to TRUST, and RELY on HIM, though they have, deep within, knowledge of HIM---

I know I've got to find, some kind of PEACE of mind, I've been searchin' everywhere---

This world, and this time is riddled with all sorts of things which cause people to wonder, to cause people to feel despair, and defeated, and so forth; every day there is bad news, and troubling issues to be dealt with, and so, people have a tendency to turn inward, clinging to what is wrong, instead of grabbing onto the ONE who CAN, and DOES turn things around, THE LORD *GOD*...

Since we already know the world, and it's ways, which do NOT satisfy us, what do we have to lose by grabbing for THE LORD? If someone only knows trouble, problems, despair, confusion, and so forth, it would make sense for them to seek something more, something greater, something more POSITIVE; thus, what do they have to lose in turning to *GOD*???

THE LORD IS instilled in the being;
HEBREWS 8: 11...
--- FOR ALL WILL KNOW ME, FROM THE LEAST TO THE GREATEST OF THEM.---

It seems that people only accept what they can see, hear, touch, and/or, are taught by ways of the world, or have been influenced by troubles of the world, and so, *GOD* takes the rear in the minds, and hearts of a great many! This IS to their disadvantage, indeed!!!

TODAY is a GREAT day to relinquish hold of what is wrong with this world, and LIFT UP TO THE LORD the being, that we are renewed, refreshed, encouraged, enlightened, and regenerated! HE ALONE HAS the POWER to AID us PERFECTLY, and to guide us through! HE ALONE, LOVES and CARES as NONE other does, or can, for HE IS LOVE, and in HIM lies ALL compassionate care! HE ALONE sears through the darkness, and brings HEALING LIGHT! HE ALONE HAS the ability to make this time worthwhile, and even to help us to make sense of it all! HE ALONE can bring a PEACE we cannot find in this world! HE ALONE IS HOPE, and lends it freely! HE ALONE KNOWS EACH of us, and what we need to journey through this land of broken dreams, and evil, wicked schemes, where everything is WAY less than it initially seems! GIVE HIM the chance to SHOW you HIS GLORY, HIS WONDROUS being, HIS GENTLE, and GIVING SPIRIT! REACH for HIM, and hang on with all your might, and little by little, your perspective will be altered from despondency, to ecstasy, which ONLY HE has an endless supply of!!!

My heart aches, at times from the news of the day, especially when it has been a very negative week across the globe, BUT I REMAIN IN THE LORD, and I AM LIFTED ABOVE what exists to capture, captivate, and chain me! I might cry, I might feel lost, but I KNOW THE LORD IS WITH me, and IS working always for the good of those who seek, know, and LOVE HIM! I CAN withstand this world, because there IS something better, and NOT far removed, THE LORD *GOD* ALMIGHTY! HOW to make someone SEE this is most difficult task, yet a most necessary one!!!

The world IS filled with suffering; even THE LORD CHRIST JESUS suffered in this realm, FOR US! People are seeking to find an end to suffering IN this time, and honestly, that ain't gonna happen, HOWEVER, we CAN manage it more optimally WITH THE LORD as the forerunner of our existence, AND HE DOES aid us perfectly as we endure, and persevere! We ALL wish suffering would disappear, but it won't until the evil of this world is eradicated! PEOPLE are the ones who BIT into evil OVER *GOD*, and unless LOVE takes over this old world, evil will continue; thus, suffering...

What I am getting at is, IF you are tired of the way you feel day to day, look UPWARD TO *GOD* for ALL you need! DON'T be captivated, and captured, and chained to what is wrong; BE FREE IN THE LORD *GOD*! WHY exist in negativity when POSITIVITY IS WITH us? WHY give in to the bad when THE GOOD *GOD* IS nearby, WILLING to LIFT you from all the murk???

Today is dark, and raining, but in my heart, and mind there is LIGHT, and JOY! While I am affected by the awful state of the world, I RETAIN JOY BECAUSE I UNDERSTAND that this IS NOT my harness, nor my TRUTH! I KNOW the HIGHER road, which I stick to, and PRAY to *GOD* REMAINS beneath me! I have been down the slippery slide to the gates of destruction, and WAS LIFTED BY THE LORD *GOD* FOR GREAT REASON, and PURPOSE, and I WON'T, *GOD* WILLING, lose my way on the HIGH road! I CHOOSE to SEE HIM in the darkness, and to ALLOW HIM to pierce through said darkness; it IS the ONLY SENSIBLE thing I have found in my journeys and I am NOT relinquishing my grip on HIM, or HIS WILL! I SEE HIS GLORY even when it seems that the world is closing in on me, and THIS IS my cue to RISE OVER all else!!!

FREEDOM is just a thought away; *GOD*! Take advantage of the opportunity to ARISE and flourish, instead of wallowing, and descending! THE LORD WILL PROVIDE exceedingly, and FILL you with MORE than you ever imagined! GIVE HIM your tired weariness, and broken spirit, and you WILL SEE how MARVELOUS IS HIS POWER to restore, rejuvenate, and replenish!!!

PRAISE HIM ALWAYS, WORSHIP HIS HOLINESS, and REJOICE IN HIS LOVE, and CARE for those who CHOOSE HIM OVER what is of the world! PRAY TO HIM, EXALT HIM, and ALLOW HIM HIS GLORY, which WILL SHINE through you, and your time in this realm! BELIEVE, RECEIVE, and know RELIEF!!!
