Each day IS a GIFT of THE LORD, FOR HIS GLORY, working according TO HIS WILL! When we are younger, this is not embraced, if even thought about, and time is taken for granted, not to mention that the enemy influences many to believe that time is on their side...
This household is dealing with medical issues right now; scary ones, and is zapping all of our energies, but FAITH, HOPE, and RELIANCE on THE LORD prevail, because without HIM, things could be way worse, not only now, but when HE brings all before HIM...
Also in FAITH, and HOPE, and RELIANCE, I find STRENGTH when there really is none left; strength enough to encourage those who need it, to urge others to SEEK HIM in all matters, and to leave some happiness in my wake! I find the COURAGE to accept that all is in THE LORD'S hands, and to ALLOW HIM to work as ONLY HE can in our lives! While nerves are racked, and patience is tried, things are sort of smoothed out through TRUST IN *GOD*, PRAYER, and BELIEF IN HIS POWERS, according to HIS WILL! Tears may fall, the hands may shake, the knees may tremble, but a moment after TURNING TO HIM, there IS that PEACE of FAITH, which IS HOPE; and more than this, the ACCEPTANCE OF HIS WILL being done...
ROMANS 5: 1-5...
1+++Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
2+++through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we exult in hope of the glory of God.
3+++And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance;
4+++and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope;
5+++and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
A blessed change takes place in the sinner's state, when he becomes a true believer, whatever he has been. Being justified by faith he has peace with God. The holy, righteous God, cannot be at peace with a sinner, while under the guilt of sin. Justification takes away the guilt, and so makes way for peace. This is through our Lord Jesus Christ; through him as the great Peace-maker, the Mediator between God and man.
The saints' happy state is a state of grace. Into this grace we are brought, which teaches that we were not born in this state. We could not have got into it of ourselves, but we are led into it, as pardoned offenders. Therein we stand, a posture that denotes perseverance; we stand firm and safe, upheld by the power of the enemy. And those who have hope for the glory of God hereafter, have enough to rejoice in now.
Tribulation worketh patience, not in and of itself, but the powerful grace of God working in and with the tribulation. Patient sufferers have most of the Divine consolations, which abound as afflictions abound. It works needful experience of ourselves. This hope will not disappoint, because it is sealed with the Holy Spirit as a Spirit of love. It is the gracious work of the blessed Spirit to shed abroad the love of God in the hearts of all the saints. A right sense of God's love to us, will make us not ashamed, either of our hope, or of our sufferings for him.
ROMANS 6: 16-18...
16+++Do you not know that when you present yourselves to someone as slaves for obedience, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin resulting in death, or of obedience resulting in righteousness?
17+++But thanks be to God that though you were slaves of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching to which you were committed,
18+++and having been freed from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.
Every man is the servant of the master to whose commands he yields himself; whether it be the sinful dispositions of his heart, in actions which lead to death, or the new and spiritual obedience implanted by regeneration. The apostle rejoiced now they obeyed from the heart the gospel, into which they were delivered as into a mold. As the same metal becomes a new vessel, when melted and recast in another mold, so the believer has become a new creature.
And there is great difference in the liberty of mind and spirit, so opposite to the state of slavery, which the true Christian has in the service of his rightful Lord, whom he is enabled to consider as his Father, and himself as his son and heir, by the adoption of grace. The dominion of sin consists in being willingly slaves thereto, not in being harassed by it as a hated power, struggling for victory. Those who now are the servants of God, once were the slaves of sin.
All which is of the flesh, of the world, works against us, as what is not of *GOD* is determined, and skilled enough to shake us until THE TRUTH is distorted, confusing, and other negative means to remove us from HIM, our BLESSED HOPE!!!
The EMOTIONAL state of the human condition is unsteady, and IS affected by what happens in this time, SO when someone is NOT strong in their FAITH, BELIEF, TRUST, and RELIANCE of THE LORD, they are easily shaken to points of lesser advantage, even endangerment! Oh, the numbers of people who have fallen away due to the crisis' in their lives, as the enemy WAS able to shake loose, their thin threads of connection to THEIR HOPE, THE LORD *GOD* ALMIGHTY!!!
It ISN'T easy for us to REMAIN IN HIM when everything is shaken in this time, HOWEVER, there is NO wiser decision to make, FOR HE IS FAITHFUL TO THE FAITHFUL, and IS ABLE when nothing else is! ONLY *GOD* can LIFT us into HIS wings, and move mountains for our sakes; SUCH IS HIS GLORY, and SUCH IS HIS LOVE!!!
Though all hell breaks loose, though it takes all my strength, I SHALL REMAIN IN THE FAITH WHICH PROVIDES the PEACE of HOPE, and I WILL WAIT ON THE LORD, TRUSTING HIS WILL OVER what my human condition might seek, for HE ALONE, IS WISDOM, RIGHT, JUST, GOOD, and ALL which PROVIDES exceedingly for my being, body, mind, heart, and soul! Though the day holds troubles, I WILL THANK HIM for this day, and all therein, KNOWING that even in the worst of times, HIS WILL IS BEING DONE, which IS working towards the eternal goodness! Though I suffer, I recall what HE suffered for me, and that suffering is natural to this plane, and IS the gateway to HIS GLORY! YES, I WILL PRAISE, WORSHIP, and EXALT HIM, while moving forward, despite all else, and I WILL REJOICE for the KNOWLEDGE that HE IS MY LORD, and IN HIM I am safely moved through what is of this world, and time!!!
