According to weather forecasts, it's wake is spanning westward, and meeting up with an Alberta Clipper for the Northeast, and Midwest, which is already in effect, and is predicted to last well into next week, with icy conditions, and bitter cold! Add to this some storms from the West Coast merging into these, and much of the USA will be affected, with either heavy rains, or snow, or a mix...
I don't remember there ever being so many weather woes; you can blame global warming all you want, but there are also, supposedly, weather altering devices owned by several countries; in fact, if I am not mistaken, some semblance of such exists in Colorado, and who knows where else! Just saying...
Anyway, while this storm affected approximately 70 million people, it seems they are making the best of it; the photos appearing are quite amusing, including ones of people in lawn chairs with swim wear and ski hats, Smart car plows (as seen above), and well, otherwise creative uses of time:)))
WHAT happened to all of the homeless people during this storm? I heard that in NYC, the National Guard went around and gathered as many as they could find, I don't know if this is a fact or not, but, what about the other states, cities, towns, and rural areas? I am sorry, I can't stand the idea of these people's fate in such weather. It is bad enough that people who have homes are suffering in wake of this storm, and in various ways, but what about the many thousands who are subject to inclement weather, especially of this magnitude???
The East Coast has suffered greatly in recent years, taking on some mighty acts of nature, and with difficult economical issues existing, it is by the GRACE of *GOD* that they manage to rebuild, restore, and move on! There are yet works going on from storms 2 years ago, so extensive were the damages, and now more to add to the over-filled plate! PRAYERS, and more are necessary, we ARE all in this together, and we know not what any day holds!!!
Senior Vice President for Planalytics Evan Gold estimated that the Northeast, including New York, Philadelphia and Boston, may have lost $500 million in economic activity. "Now that does sound like a lot of money, but when you think about last year, where we had a polar vortex, several weeks of that, more population centers impacted as well as above-normal snowfall, last year's overall economic impact is pegged at anywhere from $15 billion to $50 billion," he said. "So in comparison, this is actually a relatively small event." It IS affecting people who work for hourly wages, as those that have returned to work, lost 2 or more days wages, and have bills to pay....
HAHAHAHAHA, this dog does NOT look happy:)))
A Police Officer ticketing an illegally parked car: just doin' her job, but really??? Funny stuff:)))
*GOD* made us resilient, strong, capable, and adaptable, that is for sure! People all over the world testify to the amazing qualities HE has instilled in us, and in every adverse time, we learn, we gather, and we grow!!!Take care, *GOD* BLESS and BE with us all! MUCH LOVE, and please PRAY for the world, and HELP others as much as you can, in even the slightest ways....
KEEP *GOD* IN THE CENTER, PRAISE HIM, WORSHIP HIM, and BE THANKFUL always! KEEP THE FAITH, BE FAITHFUL, and make the most out of this *GOD* GIVEN day, FOR HIS GLORY, and the GOOD of others!!!
