when a van with 4 Men stopped, in which case, 1 got out, and shot him multiple times, point blank, in the back, and in one leg; for no apparent reason: obviously, this is still under investigation...
He was rushed to a trauma unit, where they stopped his bleeding before sending him to a University trauma center, he lost a LOT of blood. The bullets pierced his liver, his kidney, and did a very damaging job on one of his legs! He was in critical condition, but is now stabilized, PRAISE THE LORD; they are saying he will be in the hospital for up to a month. He has several surgeries to face, and has about 20 tubes, and bags all over his body...
This gorgeous, and hard working young Man is fighting for his future, and MANY lives have been affected by this, as the chain of relationships spans, including his neighbors whom are frightened, and can't believe something like this happened in 'their' neighborhood, simply because there are those out there whom have NO respect, or regard for others, which is increasing, day by day, all over the planet...
HOW can someone harm someone they don't know? HOW can people be SO cold, and SO bold so as to alter other people's lives? SADLY, many of these people are young themselves, and so, one has to wonder what has happened to make them this way? I KNOW that some come from decent homes, but then, LOTS of kids are left to themselves today, as single Parents, or even when there is two Parents, have to work longer hours, or more jobs, just to remain in some semblance of a 'good' life...
AGAIN, I remind Adults, and Parents of the IMMINENT, and IMPERATIVE role in raising *GODLY*, and GOOD Children, FOR the sake of the future, and FOR THE LORD'S GLORY, and for the sake of safety, well-being, and the right to a PEACEFUL existence! OUR role in this IS chock full of responsibilities to TAKE time to INSTILL what is right, just, and good in the Children of this world! As Adults WE set the standard, and if the standard is lacking, or failing, then WE are to blame...
One of the greatest teachers IS example, and CONSTANT reminders, along with DISCIPLINE to ensure that kids are RECEIVING the RIGHT ideals, THAT they UNDERSTAND firsthand, what being of the COMMUNITY means, and HOW they can contribute overall, FOR the good of others, thus for their own good!!!
WE ADULTS HAVE to BEGIN the change, otherwise this world is going to lose more, more, and more to senselessness, wickedness, and total disregard for human life!!!
ALL ADULTS HAVE the potential to change the direction of a Child's life! TEACH our Children well is more than a mantra, it is a *GOD* COMMANDED necessity, BECAUSE kids NEED guidelines, examples, virtues, good manners, respect, regard, and so forth, in order to FLOURISH into OPTIMAL future leaders, Families, members of THE CHURCH, and so on!!!
Let us PRAY for the innocents who are harmed daily by the unlearned! Let us also PRAY for the unlearned, that SOMEONE WILL STEP UP TO THE PLATE, and SHOW them THE WAY! Let us PRAY, PRAY, and PRAY, then let us BE THE CORRECT EXAMPLE which will have the power to lead, and inspire the Children of this time, even the ones whom are already lost to the world...

ROMANS 12: 19-21...
19/ Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, “VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY,” says the Lord.
20/ “BUT IF YOUR ENEMY IS HUNGRY, FEED HIM, AND IF HE IS THIRSTY, GIVE HIM A DRINK; FOR IN SO DOING YOU WILL HEAP BURNING COALS ON HIS HEAD.”
21/ Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
The plain instruction is, Suffer any injury that can be borne, for the sake of peace, committing your concerns to the Lord's keeping. And the sum of all is, that Christians must avoid disputing and striving. If any say, Flesh and blood cannot pass by such an affront, let them remember, that flesh and blood shall not inherit the kingdom of God; and those who act upon right principles will have most peace and comfort.
You SEE, when we aim to REPAY evil with evil, we are OVERCOME by evil, and thus, NOT of THE LORD...
Since men became enemies to God, they have been very ready to be enemies one to another. And those that embrace religion, must expect to meet with enemies in a world whose smiles seldom agree with Christ's. Recompense to no man evil for evil. That is a brutish recompence, befitting only animals, which are not conscious of any being above them, or of any existence hereafter. And not only do, but study and take care to do, that which is amiable and creditable, and recommends religion to all with whom you converse. Study the things that make for peace; if it be possible, without offending God and wounding conscience. Avenge not yourselves. This is a hard lesson to corrupt nature, therefore a remedy against it is added. Give place unto wrath. When a man's passion is up, and the stream is strong, let it pass off; lest it be made to rage the more against us. The line of our duty is clearly marked out, and if our enemies are not melted by persevering kindness, we are not to seek vengeance; they will be consumed by the fiery wrath of that God to whom vengeance belongeth. The last verse suggests what is not easily understood by the world; that in all strife and contention, those that revenge are conquered, and those that forgive are conquerors. Be not overcome of evil. Learn to defeat ill designs against you, either to change them, or to preserve your own peace. He that has this rule over his spirit, is better than the mighty. God's children may be asked whether it is not more sweet unto them than all earthly good, that God so enables them by his Spirit, thus to feel and act.
The poor young Man, after surgery yesterday, has developed pneumonia, AND it is likely that he will need a liver transplant, as one of the bullets did some great damage in that organ. He was scheduled for more surgery today, but with his lungs full, they have put it off until he is stronger. This is NOT good, but as his Family says, he is strong, and WILL make it through this. LET US PRAY for ALL of them!
