For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison,
Who am I, or who are any of us, that we should be above suffering, knowing that CHRIST JESUS suffered far worse than we will ever???
There are for the word suffering, 86 BIBLE verses, explaining that in our ONENESS with CHRIST, suffering is part, and parcel to our sharing in HIS GLORY!!!
ROMANS 5: 3-5...
3/ And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance;
4/ and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope;
5/ and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
A blessed change takes place in the sinner's state, when he becomes a true believer, whatever he has been. Being justified by faith he has peace with God. The holy, righteous God, cannot be at peace with a sinner, while under the guilt of sin. Justification takes away the guilt, and so makes way for peace. This is through our Lord Jesus Christ; through him as the great Peace-maker, the Mediator between God and man.
The saints' happy state is a state of grace. Into this grace we are brought, which teaches that we were not born in this state. We could not have got into it of ourselves, but we are led into it, as pardoned offenders. Therein we stand, a posture that denotes perseverance; we stand firm and safe, upheld by the power of the enemy. And those who have hope for the glory of God hereafter, have enough to rejoice in now.
Tribulation worketh patience, not in and of itself, but the powerful grace of God working in and with the tribulation. Patient sufferers have most of the Divine consolations, which abound as afflictions abound. It works needful experience of ourselves. This hope will not disappoint, because it is sealed with the Holy Spirit as a Spirit of love. It is the gracious work of the blessed Spirit to shed abroad the love of God in the hearts of all the saints. A right sense of God's love to us, will make us not ashamed, either of our hope, or of our sufferings for him.
We are being tried, tested, and refined, and not ALL will be able to withstand the fiery refinement, because they lose FAITH, HOPE, and TRUST in *GOD*, or become angry with HIM, or decide that they can change their state alone, and so forth! Thus, endurance, and perseverance, WHILE looking forward to our ETERNAL state, aids in keeping us aligned, stable, and to regard our suffering for what it is, common to this world, and to THE WILL OF *GOD*, as HE works through us, in us, and around us, for HIS GLORY, and our sharing therein...
YES, some suffering is nearly impossible, but HE IS with us, no matter what, and IF we call upon HIM WITH a humble, reverent, respectful heart, while repenting of our sins of the moment, and seek HIS WISDOM, and RELY ON HIM, HE SHALL DELIVER us, ACCORDING to HIS WILL...
HEBREWS 12: 12-13...
12/ Therefore, strengthen the hands that are weak and the knees that are feeble,
13/ and make straight paths for your feet, so that the limb which is lame may not be put out of joint, but rather be healed.
A burden of affliction is apt to make the Christian's hands hang down, and his knees grow feeble, to dispirit him and discourage him; but against this he must strive, that he may better run his spiritual race and course. Faith and patience enable believers to follow peace and holiness, as a man follows his calling constantly, diligently, and with pleasure.
TRUST IN THE LORD, KEEP THE FAITH, STRENGTHEN YOUR BEING, BLESS HIM, PRAISE HIM ALWAYS, WORSHIP HIS HOLINESS, THANK HIM, and be GRATEFUL, REJOICE IN HIS LOVE, and CARE for us, as well as HIS PRESENCE in our lives, and HONOUR HIM with the action of understanding, and ONENESS IN HIS WILL! PRAY, PRAY, PRAY, LOVE, BE and DO GOOD, no matter what! FAR GREATER than all greatness of time IS coming to those who persevere, and REMAIN IN HIM!!!

If we did not suffer, COULD we possibly understand, and appreciate THE GIFT of CHRIST???
