TO STILL THE BEING ENOUGH TO HEAR THE LORD...

Do we know HOW to be still? To shut out the world, problems, worry, pressing issues, and everything else, and just be still? Are we able to spend one whole day NOT encumbered by the world???

IN order to fine tune our relationship with *GOD*, and to welcome HIS HOLY SPIRIT, in entirety, stillness is mandatory; compulsory for obligation, and oblation TO THE MOST HIGH LORD...

HOW can we hear the voice of THE LORD amidst the chaotic chatter, and unrest the world impedes upon us? HOW can we relax enough to open UP to HIM, if we never take time to come to a halt in the business, and busyness of these days? HOW will we receive if HE is blocked out, due to excess energies that have no actual connection to HIM???

When we ignore being still in this time, we are overwrought by endless matters! We are nearly over-filled by this, that, and the other, and consequently, unconsciously, we spend more time on these matters than we do cultivating our relationship with THE LORD! And so, we SHOULD learn to become still of body, mind, heart, and spirit, shut out all else, hasten, and welcome the sharing of HIS PRESENCE! In doing so, there is benevolence unimaginable, and empowering, for HE IS PLEASED with those that seek HIS company, HIS LOVE, HIS WISDOM, HIS GUIDANCE, HIS COMFORT, and ALL HE shares with them!!!

Some of us, if not many in these times, have difficulty even falling asleep because of the busyness within! This is a sure sign we need to put a halt to everything, and just BE STILL!!!

THE LORD speaks to us IN SPIRIT, THE HOLY SPIRIT, and if we are overtaken by matters of the world, THE SPIRIT is greatly, hindered, not because it can't breakthrough our state of being, instead, because we are not providing optimal conditions for HIM to do so, as we are more concerned with other matters...

Stop, and consider how much we miss out on, from THE LORD, when we have too much other stuff to block the free-flowing passage of HIS benefits! What is more important? All the chaotic, and tiring matters of the world, or the gifts of THE LORD?, gifts which PROVIDE for us, exceedingly, and with TRUE satisfaction???

ROMANS 12: 2...
Do not conform yourselves to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect.

We receive from the Lord every day the fruits of his mercy. Let us render ourselves; all we are, all we have, all we can do: and after all, what return is it for such very rich receiving? It is acceptable to God: a reasonable service, which we are able and ready to give a reason for, and which we understand. 

Conversion and sanctification are the renewing of the mind; a change, not of the substance, but of the qualities of the soul. 

The progress of sanctification, dying to sin more and more, and living to righteousness more and more, is the carrying on this renewing work, till it is perfected in glory. 

The great enemy to this renewal is, conformity to this world. Take heed of forming plans for happiness, as though it lay in the things of this world, which soon pass away. Do not fall in with the customs of those who walk in the lusts of the flesh, and mind earthly things. 

The work of the Holy Ghost first begins in the understanding, and is carried on to the will, affections, and conversation, till there is a change of the whole man into the likeness of God, in knowledge, righteousness, and true holiness. Thus, to be godly, is to give up ourselves to God.

RENEWING of the mind, equates renewal of the spirit, equates renewal of the being IN THE LORD! When we are overwrought with matters of the world; fidgety, nervous, hyper, tense, and so forth, we are NOT growing, for such is negative, and therefore, debilitating! And for sure, when we are in such a state, ESPECIALLY since we WON'T, or DON'T take the time to be still, we are NOT open to receiving from THE LORD, or to incing closer to the reality of WHO we are, the spirit!!!

My own mind NEVER shuts up, or off, but, I have managed with persistence, and deliberate focus, to MAKE it quiet down enough to spend some time in stillness, and while I have a ways to go, the more I work on this, the easier it gets! I DON'T want to miss out on ANYTHING *GOD* has to offer, and for sure, I NEED HIM in EVERY way, SO, it became a matter of TRAINING, in order to receive of HIM!!!

THE LORD speaks to us through any of many ways, be that through THE WORD, to the spirit, in guidance, direction; overall manifestations of HIS WILL, in us, through us, and around us, even through other people, places, and things, and if we are NOT still enough within, we might not hear HIM, or notice HIM doing so!!!

PRAISE HIM, WORSHIP HIM, REJOICE IN HIM, and most of all, HONOUR HIM in EVERY way, of EVERY day, for HE IS THE LORD *GOD* ALMIGHTY, and ALL IS FOR HIS GLORY!!!

LET ME HEAR YOU, LORD...
Let me be as a satiny quiet body of water, still,
That I notice, immediately, YOUR WILL,
As it manifests in me, through me, and around me,
Like a drop on the smooth surface, does ripple, effectively!
Let my deepest senses to know, when YOU are speaking,
Because, in TRUTH, only YOU, am I expecting, and seeking;
Though, at times the noise, and distractions of the world are as deafness to my soul,
I cannot deny the fact, that I NEED YOU, to lead me, to comfort me, and make me whole!
Thus, I ask that YOU teach me to BE STILL,
For the sake of receiving, and knowing YOUR WILL,
THANK YOU LORD, for understanding my deficient ways,
I PRAISE YOU, WORSHIP YOU, and REJOICE IN YOU, the length of my days,
Oh, let me HEAR the full sum of what YOUR HOLY, and MIGHTY SPIRIT says!!!
