2/ For as you judge, so will you be judged, and the measure with which you measure will be measured out to you.
3/ Why do you notice the splinter in your brother's eye, but do not perceive the wooden beam in your own eye?
4/ How can you say to your brother, 'Let me remove that splinter from your eye,' while the wooden beam is in your eye?
5/ You hypocrite, remove the wooden beam from your eye first; then you will see clearly to remove the splinter from your brother's eye.
We are to LOVE one another, and LOVE includes the fruit of CHARITY, considered to be a most excellent VIRTUE, which IS the LOVE that binds us TO *GOD*, and SEES us LOVING as we ought! Charity is LOVING-KINDNESS, COMPASSION, GENEROSITY of SPIRIT, and IS the forerunner of VIRTUE, because GRACE, and MERCY, such as THE LORD has given to us, is forwarded to others.
Generosity, charity, self-sacrifice; the term should not be confused with the more restricted modern use of the word charity to mean benevolent giving. In Christian theology, charity—or love (agäpé) -- is the greatest of the three theological virtues.
Love, in the sense of an unlimited loving kindness towards all others, is held to be the ultimate perfection of the human spirit, because it is said to both glorify and reflect the nature of God. Such love is self-sacrificial. Confusion can arise from the multiple meanings of the English word "love". The love that is "caritas" is distinguished by its origin – being divinely infused into the soul – and by its residing in the will rather than emotions, regardless of what emotions it stirs up. This love is necessary for salvation, and with it no one can be lost.
I believe that ALL of us have hindrances, defects, imperfections; some are visibly so, others are more obscure, but, present themselves, eventually! Some people are physically hindered, others are hindered by their ways! NO ONE is without imperfections, or issues!!!
It doesn't matter where we are, there is ALWAYS someone who is an outsider, due to judgement on the part of others; it is a sad thing, because those IMAGINING that they are superior to someone who is afflicted, perhaps from birth, have proven their inferiority! Most people who have to live with blindness, deafness, limps, deformities, and other such, just want to be treated the same as everyone else; they don't want pity, they don't want to create a stir every time they go somewhere, they don't want others to shun them, be uncomfortable around them, and so forth! Such people have LEARNED to deal with their visible hindrances far better than most who have obscure ones, and many have been BLESSED incredibly!!!
HONEST KINDNESS goes a LONG way, and PLEASES THE LORD! Feigned kindness is detected immediately, and creates discomfort for ALL! How difficult IS it, to be kind to ALL, and treat everyone as if they matter, regardless? We HAVE to remind ourselves that unkindness can permanently damage a person, and in the least, make life MUCH more difficult for them, than it already is! ALL people NEED PRAYERS, encouragement, support, and acceptance!!!
We ALL have our shortcomings, and our imperfections, whether they are obvious, or delayed! Thus, LOVE! Our LORD *GOD* IS GENIUS, BRILLIANT, and WISE BEYOND perception, and HAS considered the FULL spectrum of humanness, thus, HIS instructions ARE vital, timeless, and work FOR the GOOD of ALL, and HIS GLORY!!!
