HEAVENLY INCLINED...: TAKING IT TO THE LIMITS & BEYOND: WHAT 'IS' FUN???

Thanksgiving for the LORD's Favor

Psalms 138 (A Psalm of David)
1/ I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.
2/ I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy loving-kindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
3/ In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.
4/ All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.
5/ Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD.
6/ Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.
7/ Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
8/ The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me:
thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands... AMEN!!!

One CANNOT earn GRACE, it is HIS own ESSENCE; a gift, still, IF one claims to be IN HIS GRACE, we ARE to, or, OUGHT to, be reflections of that GRACE! 2 CORINTHIANS 6:1, tells us not to take HIS GRACE in vain! This means, living in LOVE, morality, ethics, virtue, righteousness, and, spiritual improvement, TOWARDS, spiritual maturity, WHILE, visibly BEING as LIGHTS, beaming OF *GOD*, beckoning the world, TO THE LIGHT! Righteousness MEANS, conduct in conformity with *GOD'S* WILL, and, "Be HOLY because I AM HOLY!", therefore, indicating that knowledge, wisdom, and, effort, DO, apply TO the righteous!!! NEVER forget, we were grafted in, and, if we do not bear fruit, as a dead branch, we will be pruned out, just as were, the natural branches!!!

We are not saved by works, instead, works PROVE HIM in us: they identify HIS own...

IF I claim ONENESS with *GOD*, through CHRIST JESUS, I am DEAD TO THE WORLD, THUS, LIVING as HIM, which is, hopefully, witnessed IN, and, THROUGH, my every thought, action, and, reaction; MEANING, I am, THROUGH CONSCIOUS application OF THE WORD, HIS COMMANDS, HIS WILL, REFLECTING righteousness, not, merely, FAITH! I become, the TRULY FRUITFUL branch, of THE VINE, the TRUE member of THE BODY/THE CHURCH, CHRIST JESUS, and, TESTIFY, then, GLORIFY, BOLDLY, BY my thoughts, actions, and, reactions, HIS name, because, HE IS WORTHY, and, IN HIS LOVE, has SHOWN me, how I OUGHT to exist, to which, I eagerly, adapt, and, comply!!!

MATTHEW 5:48...
So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect

1 PETER 1:14-16...
14/ Like obedient children, do not act in compliance with the desires of your former ignorance
15/ but, as he who called you is holy, be holy yourselves in every aspect of your conduct,
16/ for it is written, "Be holy because I (am) holy."

ROMANS 12:2...
Do not conform yourselves to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect.

Conduct, in conformity to *GOD'S* WILL, marks the righteous; it is NOT because of guilt, or, ancient Laws, but, because of LOVE; LOVE for *GOD*, self, then, others! CHRIST JESUS gave us Commandments to live by, of which, the first is to LOVE *GOD*, with all of your mind, heart, and, soul; the second is, to LOVE one another!

LOVE COMPELS us to LIVE IN HIM, through conduct which conforms to *GOD*; in other words, morality, ethics, doing good, and, being good, and, ever striving to improve the spirit! It is about REFLECTING THE TRUTH, for ALL to bear witness to, FOR, and, TO HIS GLORY, RADIANTLY SHINING OF HIS POWER, GRACE, and, MERCIES!!!

It IS ALL ABOUT LOVE, baby, all about LOVE!!!

MATTHEW 4: 17...From that time on, Jesus began to preach and say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

JOHN 14:15..."If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

NOTE: I do not intend to preach, rather to reach; to stir up, awaken, to inspire, and, bring forth, in discussion, that which is, perhaps, dormantly existing in the heart of hearts, thus, little, or, no, sugar coatings, just THE WORD of *GOD*, the TRUTH, along with some of my thoughts. And truth is, I am reminding myself always, as I practice these reminders, in the best of my abilities, and capacities, while RELYING on THE LORD to lead me on that narrow PATH---> MATTHEW 7: 14: "For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it... TO *GOD* BE ALL GLORY...

TAKING IT TO THE LIMITS & BEYOND: WHAT 'IS' FUN???

I was reading a Christian forum where a young Lady asks why *GOD* doesn't want us to have fun! The answers to her question, ranged from sad, hilarious, to startling...

Several people, of course, turned the subject to sex. More than one echoed this opinion: *GOD* CREATED sex, and put it into our hearts to desire one another, so, we ARE allowed to have fun! OK, HE DID CREATE sex, and YES, to enjoy, but NOT in the ways it is being used, and abused today! Sex was a gift to share between a Married Man, and Woman, to enjoy for the enrichment of their union, and to bear Children! It is a gift bound with VOWS, and understanding of it's place in life. HE TOTALLY destroyed 2 cities, Sodom and Gomorrah, with fire, and brimstone, because of their sexual preferences, and practices; according to THE WORD, they were deviate beyond deviation, so, we MUST be careful of our taking HIS gifts to the limit..

Another person said that *GOD* indeed, wants us to have fun, even CHRIST JESUS turned water into wine that a Wedding feast could continue to rock, and several others reiterated this point! It is true, HE DID turn water into wine for the enjoyment of those attending the Wedding, at the request of HIS Mother, but NOT so they could become inebriated, then filled with debauchery, instead, for their CONTROLLED enjoyment! And YES, it is written in The BIBLE to have a glass of wine for your stomach, because you are frequently ill. 1 TIMOTHY 5: 23, though, there are other Scriptures that TEACH us to maintain self-control, that we do not overstep our freedom; at least 23 of them! Wine is HEALTHY in moderation, we ALL know that alcohol DOES serve a purpose IF consumed minimally, with the right mindset...

You see, when we exceed our limits, we are naturally, by carnal standards, thrown into behaviours which, take us into the worst of the human condition, then often, later on, we suffer within, for what we did: this can include many things, such as becoming hostile, violent, dangerous, abusive, overly free with the body, mind, and mouth, and so forth. Sometimes we hurt ourselves badly in such behaviours, physically, or otherwise, not to mention the damage we might do to others. Such things REMOVE us from *GODLINESS*, isn't that clear? When we go beyond control, we cannot discern properly, and so...

THE LORD, *GOD* WANTS us to have a richly abundant, enjoyable life, but PREMISED upon what is desirable IN HIS EYES, not ours, for what is desirable in our eyes, is of the world, dangerously snared with what is AGAINST HIM, whereas HIS ideals, are FREEING in wholesome goodness, health, vitality, well-being, and all which is right FOR the TRUE being, the spirit!!!

EVERYTHING that is happening in this world is fulfilling prophecy, and NONE of it is new! Since early on, humanity has chased after what they cannot resist, OVER the favour, and BLESSINGS of THE LORD! Still, there IS HOPE for EACH person, which lies first, in CHRIST JESUS, then, in imitating HIM!!!

I just don't get why people think that *GOD* IS allowing us to be uncontrolled in our thoughts, actions, and reactions! Does it make ANY sense that HE is allowing ALL which HE decrees against HIM, in HIS Children? Does it make sense that we CAN burn with uncontrolled desire, hurt LOTS of people in the process, be as high as a kite, drunk as we can get, and on it goes, WHEN HIS WORD says NOT?!?

Look, I LIVED a worldly life, and was VERY free in living, because I relied on human understanding, then, one night, about 5 a. m., HE THREW me down to my knees, and has been TEACHING me since then! HE FIRED FEAR into my spirit, thus, my whole being! I am thankful, grateful, and indebted, because if HE had not done so, I now KNOW what my future would hold! I CHANGED from the HEART, because I SEE the sound sense IN HIS WILL, and WAYS! They exist FOR THE GOOD OF ALL IN CREATION, and FOR OUR WELL-BEING, not in part, but fully!!!

All we have to do is to devour, and digest HIS WORD, FOLLOW HIM, and allow THE HOLY SPIRIT to work IN us, and THROUGH us, FOR, and TO HIS GLORY, and HE WILL ADD to us, in ways that LEVEL UP on our ideals of fun, enjoyment, pleasure, contentment, security, and more! HE, ALONE IS THE LORD *GOD* ALMIGHTY, so, to me, HE IS THE FOUNDATION on which I should build my life, for the now, and hereafter...

Enjoyment is this: KNOWING what is REALLY enjoyable, which often, is simplistic, such as enjoying HIS LOVE, HIS GIFT(S), our Spouse, Family, Friends, the fruits of our labors, and so on! YES, we CAN have fun, BALANCE is IMPERATIVE, no doubt, but, a determination of what fun is, is clearly imperative! Oh, and I KNOW, it is VERY difficult, even excruciatingly so, for many people to alter their ideals of fun, but, it REALLY DOES make a difference, TO HIM, thus, in our lives; for WHEN HE is pleased with us, HE is all the more gracious, generous, and present!!!

I LOVE YOU, may HE GUIDE us through the perceptions we have been raised in, and may we ALLOW HIM to refine us INTO the beings we REALLY ARE! PRAY, PRAISE, WORSHIP, and REJOICE, for HE, ALONE is worthy!!!
