FAITH IS PERFECTED THROUGH FAITHFULNESS...

YES, we walk in FAITH, though, we are to be FAITHFUL, in *GOD*/CHRIST! We are to turn to HIM with our WHOLE being, with fidelity, and, with behaviours which REFLECT HIM! IF we are of *GOD*/CHRIST, we have died TO the world, and, are now alive IN HIM, indicating, we are ONE with HIM, and, IN HIM, THERE IS PURE HOLINESS, which means that we, should NOT be living in promiscuity, immorality, addictions, and, other things, which, are NOT even a part of the descriptors OF HIM! We, as Children of *GOD*, are seeking the TRUE self, the spirit, which, transforms us, as we peel away the negative layers of this world! Anything which is of the world, is NOT of HIM!!!

1 JOHN 1...
1/ What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we looked upon and touched with our hands concerns the Word of life--
2/ for the life was made visible; we have seen it and testify to it and proclaim to you the eternal life that was with the Father and was made visible to us--
3/ what we have seen and heard we proclaim now to you, so that you too may have fellowship with us; for our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.
4/ We are writing this so that our joy may be complete.

5/ Now this is the message that we have heard from him and proclaim to you: God is light, and in him there is no darkness at all.

6/ If we say, "We have fellowship with him," while we continue to walk in darkness, we lie and do not act in truth.

7/ But if we walk in the light as he is in the light, then we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of his Son Jesus cleanses us from all sin.

8/ If we say, "We are without sin," we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

9/ If we acknowledge our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from every wrongdoing.

10/ If we say, "We have not sinned," we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

 

1 JOHN 2: 15-17...

15/ Do not love the world or the things of the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

16/ For all that is in the world, sensual lust, enticement for the eyes, and a pretentious life, is not from the Father but is from the world.

17/ Yet the world and its enticement are passing away. But whoever does the will of God remains forever.

 

1 JOHN 3: 2-10...

2/ Beloved, we are God's children now; what we shall be has not yet been revealed. We do know that when it is revealed we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.

3/ Everyone who has this hope based on him makes himself pure, as he is pure.

4/ Everyone who commits sin commits lawlessness, for sin is lawlessness.

5/ You know that he was revealed to take away sins, and in him there is no sin.

6/ No one who remains in him sins; no one who sins has seen him or known him.

7/ Children, let no one deceive you. The person who acts in righteousness is righteous, just as he is righteous.

8/ Whoever sins belongs to the devil, because the devil has sinned from the beginning. Indeed, the Son of God was revealed to destroy the works of the devil.

9/ No one who is begotten by God commits sin, because God's seed remains in him; he cannot sin because he is begotten by God.

10/ In this way, the children of God and the children of the devil are made plain; no one who fails to act in righteousness belongs to God, nor anyone who does not love his brother.

 

MANY people who claim CHRIST as their SAVIOUR, are out there, HABITUALLY sinning, and, if anyone points it out to them, they respond by FAITH they are saved, not by actions! We are to BE LIKE HIM, to the best of our ability, NOT like the evil one! When we LOVE HIM with ALL of our hearts, we are INCLINED to refrain from temptations, and, desires of the evil kind! MANY people are existing in total promiscuity, forgetting that their zippers, and, underwear go UP, actually, faster than they go down! Then, there are those other addictions, which, are NOT worthy of Children of *GOD*, which, IF they are TRYING to overcome, accounts for something, but, if they are simply, doing what they want, relying on HIS MERCY, they are living in delusion, expecting to be of the world, and, of HIM!!!

 

We CAN'T have it both ways! When we COMMIT to *GOD*/CHRIST, we are RELINQUISHING our hold on the world, and, the world's hold on us, because we KNOW it is NOT of HIM, and, has NO soundness, or, longevity, because ONLY what is OF HIM, shall remain, come HIS DAY OF DAYS!!!

 

I was misinformed at one time, and, believed that people, no matter what they do, will be saved, but, now, I SEE the dangers in this belief! Not only that, it makes sense that people who cannot commit TO LOVE of HIM, let alone LOVE of others, will NOT be allowed into the NEW HEAVEN/EARTH, because, *GOD* DOES NOT want to go through this senselessness all over again!!!

 

*GOD* DOESN'T want to see anyone perish, which is why HE has not yet come to take back HIS Children, giving us TIME to understand, and, conform TO HIS WILL! Still, NO WHERE in HIS WORD, does it say that we CAN live as the deceiver would have us do, and, sail into HEAVEN, come that time! Instead, THROUGHOUT THE WORD, we are INSTRUCTED of our part of the COVENANT! And, NEVER forget, a COVENANT IMPLIES TWO SIDES, which, in order for it to be fulfilled, must be HONORED by both sides/parties! IF I say I LOVE *GOD*, but, do not HONOUR this LOVE by action, it is merely, lip service! AND, we are to be proven, or, refined, which, means we are made pure THROUGH our efforts, and, conformity of conduct TO HIS WILL, to the best of our abilities, and, understanding!!!

 

Ignorance is one thing, but, those who KNOW the TRUTH, and, continue to act in ways against HIM, HIS WILL, and, HIS WAYS, are wrong, and, are NOT living IN HIM, as is evidenced in MANY Scriptures!!!

 

Chase *GOD*, not your desires, passions, wants, and, needs! Chase REALITY, not the pipe dream of this world! Chase eternal PEACE, and, FULFILLMENT, not eternal damnation, which, IF people understood what hell really is, might make more people THINK real hard, before they make their commitment, either to *GOD*, or not!!!

 

1 JOHN 5: 2-5...

2/ In this way we know that we love the children of God when we love God and obey his commandments.

3/ For the love of God is this, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome,

4/ for whoever is begotten by God conquers the world. And the victory that conquers the world is our faith.

5/ Who (indeed) is the victor over the world but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
