WISDOM 6:10-20...
10/ For those who keep the holy precepts hallowed shall be found holy, and those learned in them will have ready a response.
11/ Desire therefore my words; long for them and you shall be instructed.
12/ Resplendent and unfading is Wisdom, and she is readily perceived by those who love her, and found by those who seek her.
13/ She hastens to make herself known in anticipation of men's desire;
14/ he who watches for her at dawn shall not be disappointed, for he shall find her sitting by his gate.
15/ For taking thought of her is the perfection of prudence, and he who for her sake keeps vigil shall quickly be free from care;
16/ Because she makes her own rounds, seeking those worthy of her, and graciously appears to them in the ways, and meets them with all solicitude.
17/ For the first step toward discipline is a very earnest desire for her; then, care for discipline is love of her;
18/ love means the keeping of her laws; To observe her laws is the basis for incorruptibility;

20/ thus the desire for Wisdom leads up to a kingdom.
JAMES 3:13-18...
13/ Who among you is wise and understanding? Let him show his works by a good life in the humility that comes from wisdom.
14/ But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast and be false to the truth.
15/ Wisdom of this kind does not come down from above but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic.
16/ For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every foul practice.
17/ But the wisdom from above is first of all pure, then peaceable, gentle, compliant, full of mercy and good fruits, without inconstancy or insincerity.

1 CORINTHIANS 1:18-31...
18/ The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
19/ For it is written: "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the learning of the learned I will set aside."
20/ Where is the wise one? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made the wisdom of the world foolish?
21/ For since in the wisdom of God the world did not come to know God through wisdom, it was the will of God through the foolishness of the proclamation to save those who have faith.
22/ For Jews demand signs and Greeks look for wisdom,
23/ but we proclaim Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles,
24/ but to those who are called, Jews and Greeks alike, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
25/ For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.
26/ Consider your own calling, brothers. Not many of you were wise by human standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth.
27/ Rather, God chose the foolish of the world to shame the wise, and God chose the weak of the world to shame the strong,
28/ and God chose the lowly and despised of the world, those who count for nothing, to reduce to nothing those who are something,
29/ so that no human being might boast before God.
30/ It is due to him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, as well as righteousness, sanctification, and redemption,
