The body of humans IS a Temple for the LORD, our *GOD*, and, is easily consecrated through BELIEF, and, APPLICATION! We must have FAITHFUL BELIEF that the LIVING *GOD* resides in HIS Temple, our body, AND, we must ALIGN to HIS precepts in order for the experience to begin, in full! It is an opening of the CONSCIOUS mind to the deeper self, while being conscious of choices, and, adhering to improved growth of character, and, soundness of heart! Part of maintaining this Sacred Temple is to go deep into the spiritual realm, meditate, and, SEEK *GOD'S* presence, which IS there, just waiting for YOU to get into touch with it! In the coming posts, we will delve into the ways to OPEN up this Temple that it is FIT for *GOD*, and, your responsibilities in maintaining it, cleansing it, and, developing it, that it becomes as near to HIM as is feasible!!!This Temple of the LIVING *GOD* is the central point of communion with HIM; it was so designated that HE might walk WITH HIS people throughout their lives, however, so few of us are taught about this supernatural TRUTH, and so, too many of us do NOT care for HIS Temple, which means, we struggle to commune with HIM, when, in FACT, HE is right here, within us!!!
Developing the Temple is not easy, as there are things to understand, embrace, utilize, then, cultivate, however, at the onset, you will begin to notice the Temple coming to life, as subtle as that may be! Again, PERSEVERANCE, FAITH, BELIEF, and, LOVE, are imminent components to opening this Temple for YOUR greater use, and, benefit!!!
The body, the Temple, requires great care! It is a COMPLEX entity, requiring maintenance from within TO without, and, can NOT function if ALL of it's complexities are not working, together, as ONE! We abuse our bodies, our minds, our spirits, daily; we have NOT been taught to understand the great care this vessel, our body requires, even IF we understand it's complexities, we treat it as if it were indestructible, or, invincible, EVEN THOUGH WE KNOW that it IS easily destroyed, and, IS going to decay, then, demise...
We NEED health; health of body foremost, then, of mind, and, spirit, for only IN health, is there optimization of the Temple! Who could have known that mankind would be so hard on their bodies, or, so lost in their minds, that their spirit would suffer so? As Genius as is *GOD*, I wonder sometimes if HE knew beforehand, that man was so self-destructive? But, of course, HE did, it IS spoken of often enough, along with remedies to correct such instances!!!
So, here we sit, self-destructive without even being aware of it, in more ways than you might imagine, due to LACK of information, understanding, acceptance, or, even, care! Let us begin by examining some of the self-destructive habits we have, which are totally unnoticed by the egocentric mind, thus, NOT attended to!!!
First, let us remind ourselves that it is all about CHOICES (free will), AND, BALANCE! Our CHOICE to examine the body as a Temple, is a POSITIVE CHOICE, which will reap great benefits, if we chose to ignore this, that is, of course, a negative choice, which will lead to demise of the WHOLE of the body, that is, body, mind, and, soul! By SEEKING to optimize the Temple of the LIVING *GOD*, we see that we have to MAKE CHOICES concerning the care of this Temple, that it's CONDITIONS ARE FAVORABLE FOR THE LORD, OUR *GOD*, to exist in!!!
Now, there could be several approaches to developing this Temple of the LIVING *GOD*; such as, we could develop the body first, then, the mind, and, spirit, which would optimize, greatly, the HEALTH of the Temple, however, since we live in such ignorance, I am thinking that, perhaps, the spirit should be developed primarily, that there is greater understanding BY the mind, of which, the body, would naturally, follow suit! I am sure it is an individual process, along with CHOICES, still, personally, I believe that IF we start with the spiritual process, then, weave in the mind, and, body, quicker results might occur! Again, it is YOUR choice!!!
This series is quite complex, and, will require great thought, consideration, and, absorption, in order for it to take root in the egocentric self! Next up, the defining guidelines which optimize the spirit, the mind, and, the body...
