1 Corinthians 13:13

For Christians, it IS the HOLY season; a time of celebrating the most unprecedented, unimaginable act of LOVE ever known; a time when *GOD* came in the flesh, as HIS only begotten SON, to save mankind from the shackles of sin!!!
While most understand the far reaching implications of this act of LOVE, how many, IN HIS example, have taken up that LOVE as the pulse of their heartbeat? How many have embraced even a fraction of that LOVE to walk through life in the compassion which HE gave unto us? How many even realize that we, also, ARE capable of LOVING in the way HE does???
SOME have the understanding of this kind of LOVE, and, DO spend their lives in that HOLY state, giving of that LOVE until their last breath, but, most do not! One reason for this lack of application, is that people are NOT yet free of the world's hold on them, therefore, while *GOD'S* gift of CHRIST JESUS is recognized, they have not taken up the yoke of their SAVIOUR! We must ALWAYS live in the WORD, and, the factors involving HIS gift unto us; meaning that we MUST align to LOVE foremost, then, to HIS WAYS!!!
What I have noticed; actually, what I am seeing, is that people do NOT want to conform to HIS WAYS more than they have to! Many feel that their baptism in CHRIST is sufficient, which allows them to yet live as they did before, free of consequences; this is the umbrella theory of salvation: they think that their baptism provides a partition, if you will, between them, and, the ALL-KNOWING scrutiny of *GOD*, that HE will not HAVE to witness their human condition! Others, simply do NOT want to alter their state of existence to a point of living as HE would have them live; HOPING that in the end, all will be well for them! Still others are blinded by the worldly holds placed upon them, and, are sure that IF they believe, they will be saved in the end!!!
The WORD is clear! When we are baptized into CHRIST, we HAVE died OF THE WORLD with HIM; meaning, that we ARE to walk as HE would walk, AT LEAST, in the best of our abilities! This means PRIMARILY, taking up the yoke of LOVE, and, living in that state as greatly as we are able to! It also means that if we are aware of faltering, we WILL come to HIM for direction, guidance, in repentance, and, seek the righteousness HE CAN unleash for us! SALVATION carries a price; it is NOT easy, but, in comparison to what CHRIST endured, out of LOVE for us, how difficult can it be???
Thus, in this HOLY season, let us, each one, reflect upon the depths of the LOVE which *GOD*, through CHRIST has for us, then, let us LEARN the many components of that LOVE, that we ARE enabled to walk through the coming year(s), in HIS example! Do you realize how much more wonderful life could be with LOVE as your driving force? Not only for self, but, for all those you encounter? Seriously, if you give yourself any gift in this season, make it one which will truly count, the gift of the yoke of HIS LOVE!!!
Praising *GOD* for a LOVE which has the power from before the foundations of all of existence; a LOVE which found a way to rescue us from ourselves, and, the negatives which hinder existence! NEVER forget what CHRIST did for us, NEVER fall short of YOUR part of the bargain; to LOVE *GOD* firstly, then, to LOVE all others! LOVE has a multitude of provisions, and, it's BLESSINGS are as an eternal fire, never to burn out, only raging ever forth, GRACING everyone, and, everything in it's path with wholesome goodness, which, the world definitely needs!!! Hallelujah, PRAISE *GOD* for HIS LOVE!!!
